Who is the Best in Scotland? WrestleZone Representative Makes Their Nominations

In the ongoing struggle to determine exactly who is the best of what is arguably the greatest generation of Scottish talent ever, we have had the opportunity to hear from representatives from several Glasgow and west based promotions.

Widening the net however, we were able to catch a quick comment from an undisclosed WrestleZone representative to get their opinion on the hot topic.

“WrestleZone fans get the chance to see a whole range of wrestlers from across the country, and there are certainly a few that merit the tag as Scotland’s best.

Whenever BT Gunn is on a card, there is always excitement in the air about what they are going to see. His nomination is certainly justified and is something that we would support. He always has the crowd on his side and is rightly held as one of the top grapplers in the country.

Another who has been nominated is Noam Dar and we would agree that Dar is an incredibly talented wrestler and a certain candidate in this debate. His bouts in the WrestleZone have always been well-received and there are always many fans singing his praises.

Andy Wild is a man who always entertains in the WrestleZone and he is an incredibly-talented wrestler. He is perhaps an underdog in this debate, but his name should rightly be held alongside those already mentioned.

Although not based in Scotland, Bingo Ballance is an incredibly-talented performer and his regular appearances in the WrestleZone are always highly-anticipated. Bingo is also pivotal in the development of our own grapplers, and the passing of knowledge and expertise is helping our home-grown wrestlers such as Crusher Craib, Scotty Swift, Sterling Oil, Bryan Tucker and Shawn Johnson aspire to reach their goals.

Lionheart is another who helped build the WrestleZone, and his name will always rightly be attached to a debate of this kind. Although we would be hard-pushed to name one outstanding candidate, these grapplers stand above the pack as the best in Scotland today.”
